Licentiateship (LIPF) Award

I was a member of Palmerstown Camera Club for many years.

During that time I made some great friends who also shared a love for photography.

I developed many new skills as I was constantly exposed to new ideas and techniques and being inspired by other photographers in the club.

I was also an active committee member and I ran photography courses for new members starting out on their photography journey when they joined the club.

In March 2016, I was successfully awarded a Licentiateship (LIPF) by the Irish Photographic Federation.

To be successful, applicants put forward a panel of ten prints, which are assessed by a panel of experienced photographers.

The panel must demonstrate competence in key areas of camera skill.

Successful applicants are entitled to use the letters LIPF after their name.

Below is the layout of the panel I submitted and each of the individual images.

Camera Club – Palmerstown Camera Club
Federation – Irish Photographic Federation
